It took them a month to schedule me a consultation to get a chalazion removed from my eyelid. Since I've had the issue before and knew it would require an incision, I had asked when making the consultation if I could schedule the procedure so I didn't have to wait another month after seeing the dr. I was told, no and it wouldn't take that long. I waited at the office for almost 1 1/5 hours after my scheduled time before I saw the dr. After my visit I was told that it would be 2 months before I could get the procedure done because the Dr only does minor procedures once a month and he wasn't doing any in May. 3 months is a long time to wait in regards to eye care and I feel this is unacceptable. I found another Dr office with a more caring staff who could see me the following week and the Dr took care of the procedure that same day. The only reason I am even giving 2 stars is because I did think the Dr. was nice.
