It has been physically and emotionally painful to see myself slow down at age 49, a not so old age in which I had high hopes for a better 2nd half of life regarding my over all health and wellness. Post bariatric surgery had me hopeful to take back my power and experience a higher quality of life. Psyatic nerve pain and whole body arthritic pain, however, progressively worsened, even though I am 100 pounds lighter. Imagine my disappointment, having had three major surgeries before age 49 and having to continuously endure excruciating levels of pain,which hinders exercise and mobility! Finally, the last resort was to see a specialist who recommended physical therapy. I was resistant, having been used to solving my previous issues with surgery to go on a daily journey of recovery versus what I consider the "quick fix" via surgery. 2 things regarding my yielding to a daily empowering of my soul at Kauai Therapy and Wellness: it should have been my 1st resource and NOT my last resort, and it feels good to feel cared for, safe and blessed while being supported to support myself. For numerous reasons, my life choices have often been based on low self esteem. Painful as life can be, it often leads us to opportunities to heal, become educated and empowered. Struggles build endurance and character, but the right characters we choose to associate with help make the journey, pleasant. Mahalo and blessings to the staff at Kauai Therapy and Wellness for teaching me that it is never too late to grasp at,hope and healing.

She knows the body very well, very tuned in and does excellent work! I'm a licensed Massage Therapist in TX. Truly gifted Massage Therapists are a rare commodity. Pauline is definitely gifted! I recently visited Kauai Health and Wellness for a massage. My first impression was that it was an organized, well-run office. The receptionist was friendly and positive. As I waited for my appointment, I had the opportunity to watch the busy office and experience the expert and compassionate care that the occupational therapist and physical therapist gave to their patients. When it was time for my appointment, the massage therapist was welcoming and attentive. The actual massage, was relaxing and one of the best massages I've ever had! I would definitely visit again!
