Thank you for your time and consideration.
Called on June 27th and was told I could not schedule a service and inspection till July 17th. I purchased the car there and spent lots of money on it. This is the poorest service anyone could expect, in fact the lady who handled the call told me to go Midas and get the work done. I still have warranty on the car and I am not going to Midas. I was told when I purchased the car that the service would be available when needed and now they till me to go to Midas. She also said to drop car off and expect it to be done sometime thru out the day and pick it up at 4:30 PM. That is just not possible for me. Come on guys step up and do what you sell.
At the time your dealership was running a lot of ads on KONG radio that 'PROMISED to meet everyone's budget', which is the only reason why I came to look for a vehicle at your dealership.

Can you please explain to me why I would be denied a loan when my elderly uncle was approved when we both receive disability benefits? I have a clean driving record and my disability is due to mobility issues. I am forced to walk through life with, at times, excruciating back pain making it difficult to get around town.
Bought a good car there 30 years ago. They are still in business.
I am a local resident on the island and visited your dealership a few weeks ago during one of your sales events. I am a 55 yr old white female who is currently disabled and receive a monthly income from the state. I am also a military wife and daughter of a veteran in need of a vehicle in order to seek part time employment to offset the cost of living on our beautiful island. I approached your dealership and was greeted by one of your 'local boys' one afternoon after browsing your used car inventory about the vehicle that was well within my budget. He asked me if I was currently employed and I told him I was receiving disability and without any hesitation he told me that I needed to be working a full time job in order to be considered for a car loan. When I asked him why it would make any difference if the payment was within my budget and he said "they won't finance you unless you are working a full time job" and when I asked who "they" were, he responded "the bank". Basically he brushed me off as a nuisance and told me that it was getting close to the end of the business day and promptly walked away. He never offered a business card and wasn't interested in helping me work out any sort of financial package that would suit my needs.
Twice I've been to this dealership and both times told that I wasn't a 'qualified' customer. I sent the following letter to Charlie King who was listed as the owner and he said he no longer has the dealership and wanted to be certain someone else who might be able to address the issues I had with the salesman, who on both occasions turned and walked away without any attempts to meet my needs. I feel it's also an important message to the public relations manager. Please feel free to share this information with whomever you wish.
I'm not sure I will ever be able to recommend your dealership to any of my family or friends and am prepared to publish a review of how i was treated through social media sites like Facebook where it can be viewed by the general public. There was absolutely no reason for your salesman to turn me away so abruptly and I will tell my friends and family about the incident.
I walked away frustrated and very upset considering the fact that an elderly uncle I know was able to finance a vehicle from your dealership last December whose only income comes from social security disability. He's 86 years and is currently driving around town in one of your cars. Within the first month of ownership he backed into a block wall and later on tried to place the blame on another person who had driven his vehicle. This man has openly admitted to me that he was afraid to drive because of his failing eyesight and for a short time I took him around on errands around town.

I am still looking for a vehicle to get around in and would be willing to visit your dealership again as long as I am not faced with the same discrimination. Please respond by email with any questions about my availability.
Dear Mr King
Just did my safety check. Had reservation, they got to me in 15 minutes, and got a free car wash. King has always been good to me.
Went in to replace my rotars and brake pads, and the following day my vehicle started making a squealing/scraping sound. I immediately returned to King Auto Center and the mechanic who worked on my vehicle the day before took it for a drive. Upon returning he assured me that nothing was wrong and the sound was just the rotars adjusting, but after a few drives the noise will subside. Unsatisfied, I opted to take my vehicle to another professional as I was determined to get a second opinion. This particular establishment has been in business for 30+ years (I should have gone here first, but I figured after buying 2 vehicles, "my lifetime friends" would be trustworthy. Anyway, his initial diagnosis was that he had never heard of new parts making such a sound (unless it was installed incorrectly or defected, or of course, worn and torn). He then proceeded to further diagnose my vehicle (I left it there over night), and it was discovered that my rotars and brake pads had not been replaced at all! They were simply cleaned and reapplied! I was absolutely livid! Thankfully this honest professional felt my heartache and replaced (what should've been replaced by KAC) free of labor fees. I took the old "cleaned- to-look new" parts back to KAC, & demanded to speak to the service manager. I showed him the parts and he told me to hold on, he walked to the back. He returned a few minutes later along with the mechanic that worked on my vehicle and I guess for declaration purposes, he says: "------, did you install new parts in this vehicle? He responded, "Yes." The manager then looks at me and says: "Well, there you have it, and I believe my mechanic". I said: "So how do explain these worn parts?" They had the nerve to tell me: "Well, how do we know that those aren't just random old parts?" We argued back and forth, I eventually was minimally compensated and with a door slammed in my face, given their famous ten free carwashes (which I never used). Long story short, my entire family and I have not returned to this establishment for business. It is one thing to do what you must to get by and/or stay afloat, but at the end of the day we're all trying to live life, and living without integrity is a whole 'nother story. So sad. It's so difficult to find honest individuals in this world. If you are blessed to encounter such, keep them close and reciprocate.
Sincerely yours,
I feel that your employee turned me down because I appeared to him as a single, white female and I wanted to call it to your attention.
