I spent some time at this "prison" and it really changed my life. They do things different from any place I had been to in the past. Like, what jail gives you hot coffee in the morning? What jail gives you a garden to work in? They even had written assignments for us to do and every Friday they have a great big cookout. Family members were able to come and have a meal. They weren't allowed to mingle, but they did get to be in the the vicinity of their loved ones. This place was so cool to me! I know people will look at me like I'm crazy...but, this place had a really big impact on me.
