I had the lobster with garlic mashed potatoes and they were fantastic. My wife had a fresh local fish and she raves about it. I couldn’t have the Hulu pie, but my wife loved it and I got a guava sorbet. It’s was a lovely evening with excellent service, great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Don’t bother with negative reviews from negative people.
The nachos were amazing! Ah-ma-zing!!! And the flight of beer was a fantastic way to taste a few Hawaiian beers.
Me and my husband stopped here on our last night in Kauai and we wish we had gone sooner! There was great live music playing downstairs, and the location was beautiful. Our server Justin was the bomb, and recommended everything delicious. My husband got the pork BBQ ribs that actually fell off the bone, served with amazing mashed potatoes and a slaw. I had the shrimp scampi which I packaged most to go, but it was DELISH!! We also both somehow squeezed in their tasty salad bar, and made room for their famous Hula Pie dessert.. which was worth every calorie with macadamia nut ice cream, chocolate, fudge, whip cream and Oreo crust!!! Definitely recommend.. one of the best dinners we've had in Hawaii.
Sat at the bar because the wait for a table was going to be quite long. It was great service, very friendly! The one bar tender was very calm and still seemed to get all tasks completed. The other one seemed very stressed out and that she was having a rough day.
Great happy hour and lunch spot. View of ocean. Casual and relaxed setting. Would recommend as a last stop before heading to airport to depart the island.
Fantastic view and even better food! The poke was awesome and I had the pulled pork sandwich. I don't want to call myself a pulled pork connoisseur, but I know my way around the sandwich. This is the best one I've ever had, in the islands and stateside.
I started reading through reviews after making reservations and saw a few mentioning bad service and almost changed reservations. Thank goodness I didn’t. I was greeted warmly and our server was wonderful. I watched other servers and they were kind and thoughtful also.
