Chairs had springs that dug in to your butt while sitting.
We stopped here around 7:30am on our way to a rafting tour hoping to get some breakfast. We were told all they had at the moment was bagels with no other explanation (I assume they don't start serving breakfast til later? But no one verbalized that to us).
It took longer than it should to get a couple smoothies and coffees. The whole experience was underwhelming considering the other positive reviews I had read in advance. I would skip.
And finally: the washrooms. They're not even in the café. You'll need to take a key from beside the door and walk to the corner of the building.
After getting several Instagram likes from their social account, I figured I would check them out before my flight home.
We ordered a couple smoothies and my sister asked if she could add peanut butter to hers, which the girl at the cash said she could. A few minutes later the employee making it said "we don't add peanut butter" and asked if she wanted a banana instead... A banana that was already supposed to be on the smoothie...
Neat little coffee shop with high ceilings, comfy chairs, and some interesting books scattered about. Had an urban feel to it, which is a fun change of pace. Seems to he a popular hangout for the locals. I ordered black coffee and it was great! Prices are notched right about Starbucks, but still reasonable. Wife got a chai tea latte, and loved it.
Iced coffee was underwhelming and no plant milks we're available. Milk bar looked sloppy.
Not great. Staff were very rude. Almost like we were inconveniencing them just by being there.
Their instagram was gorgeous, and I barely recognized the large yet barely styled space when I arrived. Also, the parking lot was full and we had to park on the street.
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed.
This cute little coffee shop located in the Lihue town plaza is a good shop for an eye opener. They offer all of the latest brewing styles and have a Clover for pricer brews. Only negative is that the pasteries aren't made in house. Baked goods texture is rarely improved by being tightly swaddled in cling film.
Great coffee shop, my go to place before work as well as on days off. They have some good books and comfortable seating. You can also get good food.
