Have stayed here several years in a row. We love the location and the staff was great. And we really enjoy the friendly cats that are at this resort. We look for the same friendly little furry faces each year and that really keeps us coming back. The units are fully equipped with everything you will need. A great place to stay!
This was a great place to stay at in kauai. They did have a small pool but it worked and you can just walk over to the other Resort next door and use their pool too. We had a lot of fun and the rooms were nice.
The unit was dirty when I got here. The "cleaning service only changes the towels. And even then they left dirty towels one even had feces stains. The kitchen floor was sticky and the carpet looks to have only a passing relationship with a vacuum. If I wanted to clean house every day I would have stayed home. Oh and the key is just that, a key on a fob no keycard. Not even worth the money.
Great location! Within 15 minutes of Wal-mart and the airport. It’s a decent place to stay. The carpet and couches all need updating. There are pots and pans in the kitchen but no spices or anything extra. Housekeeping only comes on Thursday’s to give new towels. They don’t do anything else. I enjoyed the beach right behind these villas, however, it is not a beach for swimming. The pool is absolute garbage. We walked next door to the Kauai Beach hotel and their pool is a lot more elaborate. They have a kids area and water slides. I’ve heard you can sit through an hour long time share for access to their pool. If you have little kids, I would highly recommend doing that. Overall it’s a pretty quiet location. The front desk gives you information on farmers markets, which is nice. They also have a few games at the front desk that you can check out and use (corn hole or bean bag toss).
I loved staying at at Kauai Beach Villas! There was an issue with half of our reservation upon check in, and the staff were more than accommodating. They also helped us get set up with a couple of excursions and got us a discount on a rental car. The unit was clean and in order. The only issue I had was a few ants and some other roach? looking bugs. It was nothing major however. I would definitely book here again!
