Room is nice. Between roosters and fighting cats, it is very loud and hard to get to sleep/sleep in. As the rooms have plastic shutters and no windows, noise really carries, both into and out of the room. The grounds are pretty nice, some neat large frogs and other creatures. No internet in the rooms (at least in ours) but outside in the grounds it's zippy.
Conveniently located to the Lihue airport, this basic resort is a good bet if you get in late or have an early flight. Beware of engine thrum from the nearby cruise ships, however it's out-of-the-way location is otherwise quiet. Pool area was under construction when we visited and they started *early*! Power outlets were a bit of a challenge.
I really liked this hotel and the nice landscaping. It is not a high-end resort, but you don't pay high-end prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor is a little dated but clean. I would recommend this place. It is very conveniently located to many sights and good food.
Great location - Tucked away with great views of the mountains and a nice, quiet, pool. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and well equipped. Continental breakfast was a plus. Only negative point is to keep your room locked and belongings safe. Don’t hang towels or clothes outside if you have a patio, as they may be stolen.
Very nice, quiet & clean. Nice views from rooms & pool was pretty especially @ night. Coffee, hot water & iced lemon water was available all day but fresh coffee was not ready till 7:30 a.m. when staff returned. Would definitely stay here again but get coffee before bed & heat up in microwave in morning.
