This was an amazing experience! As someone who is not the best with heights I was a little nervous, but our pilot Chris was awesome & very knowledgeable, and there was really nothing to fear... The views were unforgettable. Doors off for sure!!
Alvin did a great job on the tour. This company flies the best helicopters as they are smaller and you get a private tour as a result! Make sure you go doors off!

We had an awesome flight! The Helicopters are smaller so everyone had a "window" seat, but we flew doors off, so really an unobstructed view and no problems with shooting pictures through the plexiglass. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour....He even spotted a couple whales off the Na Pali coast so we detoured slightly to see them and take a few pictures. Everything was top notch and very professional - Highly Recommend Mauna Loa to anyone thinking of taking a helicopter tour.
We had an incredible tour! We did the doors off type, and there were three of us plus the pilot, so each person had windows - nobody was stuck in a middle seat like on some of the larger helicopters with other companies. Helicopter tours are expensive, but this is the only way to see many areas of this spectacular island, and Mauna Loa was a great choice. Worth it!
